Q. How can I see what my listing will look like?

A. That’s more difficult than you might think, UNLESS you have a smart phone. (If you have a smartphone, just go to http://[name of sample listing]) The problem is that smartphone sites are quite small in screen size, and won’t display properly on your Internet browser. Q. Why an InnsMobile listing versus a standalone mobile website?

A. At least for the foreseeable future, mobile sites have to deal with shifting targets of mobile operating systems and devices: so far this year, a new smartphone or tablet device has appeared at least every day! Thus a standalone mobile site is going to require constant work to make it accessible on the latest devices. That’s one powerful feature of InnsMobile. We are constantly revising the database of mobile devices InnsMobile is optimized for. Currently, we have 13,000 devices in the database! With InnsMobile, you don’t need to worry about compatibility with the latest, greatest devices. Q. How will smartphone users learn about my listing on InnsMobile?

A. InnsMobile has already been discovered by Google, for one. And placing the InnsMobile link to your listing on your site and in other places will certainly bring visitors to it.

Q. How much material can I put on my listing?

A. Quite a bit. But with mobile devices, the best approach to follow is “Less is More.” Users of mobile devices want information in concise form, and if they are accessing your listing while they are on the road, they are not going to want to spend a lot of time browsing your listing. Avoid trying to use keywords and terms. Forget about superlatives. Don’t waste precious screen real estate with cutesy terms like “More than you ever wanted to know about…” One picture is worth…well, one good picture is worth a lot. But since the screen is small, use of multiple pictures on the same page should be restricted.

Q. How do I create my InnsMobile listing?

A. Just go to and check to see if you already have a basic listing. Then set up your account to enter data for a free listing or upgrade to a Standard or Premier listing. You will then be guided through creation of your upgraded listing.

Q. How do I pay for my Standard or Premier listing?

A. After you create your Standard of Premier listing, we will send you an email invoice which will contain a link to pay online by credit card via secure server.
